Our Wines  :  2004 Page Nord Syrah

Our only fruit source from the Napa Valley, Page-Nord Vineyard, produces an explosive syrah year after year. It is, undeniably, the warmest site that we source fruit from (located on the valley floor in the Oak Knoll district, just north of the city of Napa.) We can always count on a wine with incredible amount of fruit and a lush mouthfeel. The 2004 version is a densely flavored wine; packed with candied plums, blackberries, anise and a slight toastiness from 14 months in French oak. This wine, which was bottled unfined an unfiltered, is drinking well now, but will improve and become more interesting over the course of the next 5-7 years.

Intense and concentrated, with a grapey blackberry and wild berry presentation of dark fruit. Well-focused, deftly balanced, with a beam of flavors that's long and vibrant on the finish. Drink now through 2012. 419 cases made.
