Last year's 2008 Four Mile Creek Red Table Wine was quite the hit, earning "Best Buy"
designations from Wine Spectator, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, and the Wine Enthusiast.
The 2009 is perhaps an even finer wine, due in large part to the superiority of the vintage.
The 2009 Novy Four Mile Creek is a blend of Zinfandel, Syrah, Nebbiolo & Grenache. It
is full of bright, red fruits, a smooth, rich mid-palate, and a long, but soft finish. Unlike
many wines at this price point, this wine comes from many of the same vineyards that you
have enjoyed as single-vineyard wines. It has also been treated with the same care as all of
our wines, down to the point of being bottled without fining or filtration.
The 2009 Novy Four Mile Creek is not designed as a wine to occupy space in your cellar.
Though it will certainly keep for several years, it was truly created as a wine to be served at
larger parties and events, or on a Tuesday night with hamburgers on the grill. |
